I didn't know what to think when I first heard Autolux. At the time I wasn't listening to anything particularly heavy or loud, so their material wasn't hard to hear for any reason, but... it's just different. It's very dreamy, soft, calm, stream-of-consciousness. They don't really have "hooks" or super catchy beats. Their work floats in, and on, and out. This is definitely chill-out music.

Some notable moments in this album:

- The layered "shake, shake, shake" in "Turnstile Blues".

- "Robots In The Garden".

- "Plantlife".

Overall, this is a sleepy album. If you like arty, indie stuff, you probably already have this.
